CLUB RULES

The Madison Convertible Club held its inaugural ride on June 22, 1989.  The club was started by Goldie & Larry Hurley.

 

Our club is always open to new members.  Membership requirements are simple:

  1. You must have a convertible

  2. New members must host a ride in their first full season with our club

  3. To maintain membership, all members are required to host 1 event every 3 years

  4. Once a member has hosted 5 events for our club, they become "lifetime members" - and are no longer required to continue hosting rides to maintain membership.

HOW IT WORKS

Each spring our annual event schedule is published.  Volunteers select an event date, and begin planning a ride and dinner.

Prior to each event, club members receive an email with the starting time and location for our ride - as well as dinner menu options.  Interested members register for an event - and provide their dinner selections.

On the day of each event, registered members meet at the designated location and time - and are provided a ride sheet outlining plans for the evening.  Rides generally run about 75 minutes - with the end restaurant destination known only to the event host.  Upon arrival at the restaurant, participating members enjoy a great meal and great company!
